Join Millford Mill United Methodist Church, in conjunction with Patapsco Heritage Greenway and Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake for a hands on tree maintenance workshop.

Participants will learn how to care for trees. We will do maintenance on 11 native trees planted in fall 2023 on church property! Maintenance includes weeding, ensuring tree caging/deer protection is in tact and fixing as needed, re-mulching, watering tree donuts/ensuring they are placed correctly and fully saturated, and pruning trees as needed. We will also be planting 2 additional oak trees on the property.

If you have them bring safety glasses, work gloves, hand pruners and hand saws. NO CHAINSAWS. Workshop will be 1.5-2 hours.

Wear long pants, closed shoes and work gloves.

Bring hand tools labeled with your name, and any food and water you may need while on site.
