The conference runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program includes nine invited presentations on water monitoring and management.  Presentation topics range from monitoring environmental DNA (eDNA) to water quality issues pertaining to microplastics, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), and road deicers. Speakers will discuss the Chesapeake Bay, septic system assistance, and the Virginia Conservation Assistance Program. Eric Braker with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay will be the keynote speaker.
