Southern Maryland Audubon Society will host Maryland’s chief botanist as he discusses the state’s rarest and most endangered native plants. Chris Frye leads efforts to manage and preserve the state’s rare, threatened and endangered native plants. He maintains the state’s rare plants list and is the curator of vascular plants at the Department of Natural Resources’ TAWES herbarium in Annapolis. Chris will be sharing his latest research and will discuss the future of Maryland’s most endangered plants.
