In reaction to recent articles in The Washington Post and Baltimore Sun highlighting local support and opposition to urban/suburban stream restoration in the region, the Coalition’s Stormwater Workgroup has been addressing the issue with facts presented by experts. Our next step for Coalition members is a two-hour webinar on April 1 from 2-4 pm with a presentation by Tom Schueler and David Wood with the Chesapeake Stormwater Network for the first 45 minutes to an hour and a discussion for the rest of the time. The Coalition recognizes differing views on this and other issues, but we want to ensure that everyone is looking at a common set of facts in determining their views.
