The Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program (ACAP) Ag Conservation Keystone Training will be offered in three opportunities during October 2024. Eventually, these trainings will be a required first step to achieve the Agricultural Conservation Professional training certification (a new program in development), and pending ACAP workgroup review and approval, this will also be part of the county training requirements for ACAP delegation agreements (like ESM training for Dirt and Gravel Roads delegation agreements).

The ACAP Keystone Training addresses basic ag literacy for new or seasoned professionals, resource concern identification on agricultural lands, criteria for ag best management practices, in-field basics needed to provide technical assistance, conservation practice function and implementation, and combined funding strategies.

Registration is limited for each training course to be held:

  • October 7–9 at Penn State University Park
  • October 15–17 at Penn State Hazleton
  • October 28–30 at Penn State Beaver

Join us for this fantastic opportunity to continue to build on your knowledge base and to provide feedback to grow and improve the training for the future.

Lunch each day will be included. Participants must register by September 29 for University Park, October 6 for Hazleton, and October 20 for Beaver.
