This professional and managerial position in the Division of Energy and Environment (DEE) performs complex administrative, technical and supervisory duties within the Department of Climate and Energy. This Department is largely responsible for administering projects and programs for our growing Climate and Energy (C&E) functions that meet the County Executive’s initiatives for 1) the Climate and Energy Action Plan for internal operations and community-wide, to include greenhouse gas emissions inventories, GHG mitigation plans, Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment, and Resilience Plan; 2) Clean Fleet and Electric Vehicle Infrastructure; 3) Building Energy Performance; and 4) Clean Energy Procurement. This position manages DEE’s Capital Improvement Program for Climate and Energy. Supervision is given to Climate and Energy staff; supervision is received from the DEE Division Director.
