Underwood & Associates (www.ecosystemrestoration.com) is seeking multiple Field Technicians for stream restoration and stormwater management construction. Job sites are located in Anne Arundel County, Washington, DC, the eastern shore, and other areas. Experience with outdoor construction, heavy equipment operation, landscaping, native plants, and related skills are preferred.
Job Requirements:
- The ability to lift and move 50 pounds
- Clean safe driving record
- Possess a license and personal automobile for commuting to job sites
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
Tasks will include some combination of the following, plus other duties as needed:
- General construction work
- Complete plantings & landscaping
- Complete light masonry, form work, carpentry
- Take grade shots for equipment operators
- Operate light duty and heavy equipment
- Guide dump trucks, co-ordinate logistics with Site Foreman & PM
- Assist operators with rough grading and on-site material placement
- Native plant nursery propagation
- Seed collection
- General site maintenance
