Eastern Shore Land Conservancy is looking for a full-time position for a Land Conservation Assistant.  This position will primarily assist in providing conservation easement services to the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  Specific duties will include, but not be limited to: communicating with landowners and project contractors, project task and financials tracking, project research and due diligence review, baseline site visit support, GIS data and database management and recordkeeping.  Capability to work in the outdoors under varying conditions is a must.  Ideal applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree in natural resource management, environmental studies or a related field with at least one year of related or transferable experience. Experience working with landowners. Strong GIS skills.  Valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation.

The Land Conservation Assistant will report to the Director of Land Conservation and will work out of ESLC’s office in downtown Easton, Maryland.  This is a full-time position offering a salary range between $40-45,000 per year based on experience, and a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, as well as an employer-sponsored retirement, and paid time off.  To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to hr@eslc.org.
