General Description
We are a small, local, eco-friendly garden company and native plant nursery looking for a nursery assistant to run our Saturday sales. We are located in Glenwood, MD and the sales run from 10am-3pm. We sell a variety of native perennials, shrubs, and trees, as well as some annuals and garden accents. There is potential for future work for the 2019 season.
General Duties:
- Help customers pick out plants
- Answer customer questions and provide advice on plant choices.
- Receive payment through cash, check, or credit card
- Help customers load purchases into their car
- Pick-up road signs
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Maryland native plants
- Reliable transportation to and from work, as well as to pick-up road signs at the end of the day.
- Customer service and retail skills
