Over the course of the past 15 years, Chesapeake Conservancy has become a widely-recognized player in the conservation movement in the Chesapeake Bay watershed, known for its exceptional work in land conservation, policy and advocacy, and data and innovation. This is a critical moment in time for the organization, as it transitions from ‘startup’ to established nonprofit and seeks to amplify its impact across the watershed states to achieve the ambitious goal of conserving 30% of the Chesapeake watershed by 2030. Against this backdrop, Chesapeake Conservancy seeks a dynamic, visionary President and Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization through this important moment of transition and evolution.
