Program Specialist Position in Environmental Literacy and Outdoor Education
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic person who likes to work with a diverse population of students, teachers, administrators and partners to implement environmental programming and manage one of our signature programs. This position is currently targeted toward our 6th grade Chesapeake Connections Program which works with students in implementing restoration projects throughout Anne Arundel County (program assignment may change based on needs of office). The position also supports summer programs and office needs such as social media, team building, and other tasks as needed. The Environmental Literacy and Outdoor Education Office desires a candidate that shares a commitment to support the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice in all the work that we do.
This position is about managing programs, working with students and adults, being a team player and having a passion for the environment!
