Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary, Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks, is seeking an enthusiastic summer camp counselor to help deliver six weeks of summer camp for kids ages 3 to 16. Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary is located 30 minutes south of Annapolis and approximately 40 minutes southeast of Washington, DC. These small summer camps immerse children in nature at this beautiful 1700 acre freshwater tidal estuary along the Patuxent River. The counselor will lead campers in hiking the woods, seining for fish, catching frogs in the creek, exploring the marsh, paddling the Patuxent River and much more! Outdoor Education at its best! Job runs from mid/late May to mid/late August. Applications are due by March 26, 2021.
