Howard EcoWorks (HEW) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop a workforce to undertake environmental improvement projects in Howard County, MD. HEW is seeking a Workforce Manager to assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of human resources operations and administration of HEW workforce programs. The Workforce Manager will be responsible for the personal development of HEW’s workforce who are largely young adults aged 16-25. The Workforce Manager will develop existing and new programming, policies and procedures to ensure competent career readiness and future employment success for HEW program participants. In coordination with HEW staff, the Workforce Manager will proactively manage the workforce for successful fulfillment of HEW’s current environmental work obligations to public and private entities.
