The Choose Clean Water Coalition is accepting applications to join the 2025 cohort of the Young Professionals of Color (YPC) Mentorship Program.
Running from January to December 2025, YPC aims to help Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) working in the environmental field achieve their career goals while addressing the racial diversity gap within the Chesapeake Bay restoration movement. This program provides mentorship and professional development opportunities to support the retention of BIPOC colleagues in the region by tackling the structural barriers they face.

Now in its ninth year, YPC offers tailored mentorship and trainings to young professionals eager to advance their careers and helps mentors strengthen their leadership skills. This unique partnership builds stronger relationships among clean water advocates and fosters a pipeline of diverse leaders committed to advancing watershed goals throughout the region.
The Coalition is looking for both mentors and mentees and welcome all individuals regardless if they are on staff of a Coalition member organization. Apply by Friday, November 8, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. and join the 2025 cohort!
